Built-ins and bookcases
To add extra storage and display, the customer requested lower cabinets and bookcases around the family room fireplace. The cabinet countertop is two inch thick maple. The existing white mantle was replaced with a maple top which gives the mantle much more depth and presence. The lighting is remotely controlled and multicolored.

Pantry upgrade
This pantry was 25 years old and looked it! And with eight shelves, it did not hold very much. Fast forward a couple of weeks and this storage room is not only beautiful but absolutely functional with almost double (14) the shelving. Each shelf is fabricated with strong, maple faced plywood and a maple front. To keep the room light, no stain was applied. A water based poly protects all wood surfaces.

TV Stand

Want to have a TV stand that is not rectangular for the perfect footprint for a corner? Here it is! This reclaimed lumber piece has two barn style doors, adjustable shelves and a place for all electronics and sound bar. The angles were determined for perfect viewing from the sectional couch. The TV stand was not stained for a natural appearance and finished with a water based poly. |

Maple Shelves
A customer wanted a large wall area filled with shelves almost 8 feet long! The shelf standards and brackets selected are very elegant and functional in their design. The results are impressive!

Garage Cabinets
Want a ton of storage hidden behind doors? These cabinets are six feet tall and span 16 feet with a depth of 24 inches. To protect the base from water, the cabinets are mounted 6 inches above the floor. Soft close hinges were used for that nice feel. For flexibility, 16 of the shelves are adjustable or can be removed entirely.

This bookcase and storage bench set is designed to look like built-ins but are removable. The lower front edge of the base and the shelf trim molding matches the client's antique secretary desk. The paint color is a custom blend to match the leather furniture. The top coat finish is three coats of water based polyurethane. The center storage with custom paneling

provides a comfortable seat to read and plenty of storage within. Special mechanical rods keep the lid up and off of little fingers. The dimensions were simple: wall to wall, floor to ceiling, and frame around the window!

Huge bookcase

This bookcase looks like a built-in and, at 8.5 feet tall and 8 feet wide, is huge and holds many, many books and items!
The unit is made up of three - 32.5" wide cases that are attached to a common base and top. The top incorporates a gentle arc that matches one in an existing built in. Each case has two fixed and six adjustable shelves. The wood is painted black and finished with polyurethane. Any color of stain or paint can be used. Custom builds can be modified to include doors, different depths, custom moldings, etc.
